Provides funding to enhance bee health throughout the province.
Provides cost-shared funding and a recognizable Buy BC logo to help BC’s agrifood and seafood sector market their products and increase sales within BC.
Canada-BC Agri-Innovation Program
Designed to accelerate the pace of agrifood related innovation to enhance the sector’s competitiveness, sustainability, productivity and resiliency.
Supports industry activities that contribute to and improve the competitiveness, innovation and resilience of B.C.’s agriculture and agrifoods sector.
Agriculture Income Protection (AgriStability)
Helps stabilize farm income by managing the risk of large income declines.
Crop Loss and Damage Due to Wildlife (Agriculture Wildlife)
Provides compensation for crop loss due to wildlife damage.
Income Savings Account (AgriInvest)
Helps manage small income declines, and provides support for investments to mitigate risks or improve market income.
Offers protection against an unexpected drop in prices over a defined period of time.
Helps producers manage their risk of crop losses caused by the weather, such as hail, spring frost, excessive rain, flooding and drought.
Provides up to $10,000 in funding to on-farm businesses such as food farmers, producers, packers, and ranchers in BC who want to earn food safety certifications and implement food safety improvement activities.
Provides up to $20,000 in funding to BC processors, value adding producers, wholesalers, importers and distributors, leading toward the implementation of activities which directly encourage stronger food safety practices.
Available to agriculture, agrifood and seafood businesses to purchase and install traceability systems, practices, technologies and infrastructure.
Offers a rebate to livestock operators who purchase and install approved tag readers.
Supports producers in increasing the environmental sustainability of their operation.
Greenhouse Carbon Tax Relief Grant
Carbon tax relief to B.C. commercial vegetable, floriculture, wholesale nursery and forest seedling operations.
Farm Adaptation Innovator Program
Supports collaborative research, demonstration, and knowledge-sharing to enable farm-level adaptation to climate change.
