What are certification bodies?

Organic BC’s certification bodies are independent, non-profit organizations that provide certification for organic farms and businesses throughout BC.

All of our certification bodies certify to the British Columbia Certified Organic Program (BCCOP), while one additionally offers Canada Organic Regime (COR) certification. Each of our certification bodies are unique organizations, and services may vary according to scope of products, geographical location, fee structure, or additional standards offered.

To help you decide which certification body is the right fit for you, we invite you to contact them directly to learn more.
