Ministry of Agriculture and Food - Programs Page Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada - Programs & ServicesProvides funding to enhance bee health throughout the province.
Provides cost-shared funding and a recognizable Buy BC logo to help BC’s agrifood and seafood sector market their products and increase sales within BC.
Supports industry activities that contribute to and improve the competitiveness, innovation and resilience of B.C.’s agriculture and agrifoods sector.
A suite of insurance and income stability programs that are designed to work together to enable B.C.’s agricultural producers to manage business risks that are beyond their control (production losses, severe market volatility, extreme weather events or disasters).
Income Savings Account (AgriInvest)
Helps manage small income declines, and provides support for investments to mitigate risks or improve market income.
BC Traceability Funding Programs
Funding is available to agriculture, food and seafood businesses to support the adoption of new or improved traceability systems, practices, technologies and infrastructure in B.C. The programs aim to enable businesses to meet existing and emerging market and regulatory requirements for traceability systems.
Provides up to $10,000 in funding to on-farm businesses such as food farmers, producers, packers, and ranchers in BC who want to earn food safety certifications and implement food safety improvement activities.
Provides up to $20,000 in funding to BC processors, value adding producers, wholesalers, importers and distributors, leading toward the implementation of activities which directly encourage stronger food safety practices.
Supports producers in increasing the environmental sustainability of their operation.
