For over 30 years, the Certified Organic Associations of BC (COABC) has represented a unified voice for BC farmers, processors, and advocates committed to organic, regenerative agricultural practices. From fighting for stronger policies to increasing market demand to building community, we’ve laid a foundation of innovation, leadership and trust.
In 2021, we rebranded as Organic BC to better reflect the full scope of our work—the education, the advocacy, and the community building.
That shift was just the beginning. Now, we’re planting even deeper roots.
We’ve officially launched a new society under the name Organic BC. While our name stays the same, everything else is growing: our vision, our supports, and—most importantly—our community. This isn’t just a refresh. It’s a transformation.
Our expanded membership means there’s a place for everyone, from organic farms/businesses and organic certification bodies to advocates and eaters who believe in a better food system. If you care about sustainable, regenerative agriculture, this is your movement too.
