Every year a community of farmers, gardeners, and nature-loving people celebrate a festival of Seed Blessing with dances, poems, eurythmy, story-telling, personal experiences and thoughts sharing, biodynamic preparations making, and a communal potluck lunch.

This year the celebration is special as it includes a community blessing of a newly-built farm.  The farmers prepare it as a future home for the cows.

When:  Saturday, February 28, 2026,  11am – 4pm
Location: Nutrient Dense Farm, Magee Road 1788, Brackendale, BC  V0N 1H0 (Brakendale is a neighbourhood within the District of Squamish)

Dress warmly, with farm-appropriate footwear and rain coats.  Bring your seeds to be blessed for the new growing season.  Bring a dish for a potluck lunch, your water or a warm drink, and your plate or bowl with utensils.

This is a family-friendly event. Children usually thrive at such an event as there is lots to learn, observe, and explore in a beautiful outdoor environment. The farmers request that you please leave your dogs at home.
