Call for Presenters – 2025 BC Organic Conference

 

Organic BC is in the process of organizing the 2025 BC Organic Conference, which will take place on November 25 – 27 in Harrison Hot Springs, Sts’ailes Territory. The theme of this year’s conference is Organic Solutions for a Complex World.

Do you have an interesting topic that you’d like to share at the largest organic sector gathering in BC? We want to hear from you!

 

We are looking for presenters to share best practices, expert knowledge, tips & tricks and stories within all areas of organic agriculture including, but not limited to these topics:

• Developments in science in agriculture
• Practical, adoptable practices for farmers
• Latest research updates
• Marketing
• Distribution, retail & export markets of organic products
• Climate change – mitigation and adaptation
• Seeds and seed saving/security
• Cultural and social issues within agriculture

 

Other things to know:

• Sessions are approximately 60 minutes long including Q & A.
• Presentations should include practical examples (where possible), and provide ideas and resources that participants can adapt/apply in their businesses.
• Presenters will be offered an honorarium, and mileage and accommodation expenses will be covered.
