Investigating crop suitability for changing climate conditions

As the climate changes, we are seeing shifts in average temperatures as well as increasing variability in weather and seasonal conditions. Crop selection is an important strategy for adapting to new climate conditions as well as improving resiliency as weather becomes less predictable. This session will discuss tools developed to support crop selection decisions, including phenological models for BC wine grape varieties and resources for on-farm research.
