Nitrogen and Nutrient Management at Tatlo Road Farm

In this episode of our Organic Innovation Series, we visit Tatlo Road Farm in Crofton, British Columbia, on southern Vancouver Island. Farmer Niki Strutynski takes us through the farm’s nutrient and nitrogen management program, highlighting their system for tracking nutrients and making decisions around nutrient applications.

Then, Josh Andrews from the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture and Food delves deeper into why nitrogen management is important and takes us through a “how to” of a post-harvest nitrogen test.
